Sam Smith has released the video to his third single “Lay Me Down”, off of his number 1 selling debut album In the Lonely Hour and it comes with a bit of controversy. As many may know, this soulful singer has came out to the world that he is a homosexual, and in this video he and his partner are getting married in a church. The Grammy nominated singer has addressed the gay marriage in the church scene in a recent interview with Rolling Stone Magazine.
As the video begins, you see Smith at what appears to be a funeral while the viewers are sitting down holding candles. Then the sad funeral turns into a happy wedding between Sam and his partner.
